DESCRIPTION

The Steven Worby Community Award is a $5000 award presented to a youth group or team that completes a project or service that serves the community or an individual in Halton Hills.

ELIGIBILITY: 

Must be a youth team or youth group operating in Halton Hills.

BACKGROUND

About Steven Worby

Steven unexpectedly passed away on November 18^th, 2019 in his 30^th year. Steven had a tremendous impact on so many people. Steven’s hard work, positivity, selflessness, strength, protection, and willingness to help anyone in need was truly admired by his friends and family.  Steven had such a zest for life and was always smiling. Steven loved playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer.
