Community Foundation of Halton North

CFHN Webathon 2021 will take place on October 2, 2021 via Pheedloop, a virtual event platform. It will be a hybrid event, combining CFHN’s physical presence at Farmers’ Markets, at the new home of CFHN and with an online celebration of CFHN, along with multiple local charities. To register for this FREE event, go to: WEBATHON 2021 REGISTER

CFHN will facilitate a series of activities in which charities and their advocates are invited to have some fun and learn about the philanthropic sector in Halton North, while helping CFHN reach the goal of raising $100,000 – $10,000 for each participating institution.

The virtual piece of Webathon 2021 will include 10 hours of programming, exhibiting a series of interviews and videos talking about the work of CFHN, local participating charities, generous sponsors and the importance of these coordinated efforts within the community.

Each charity will have exclusive time during Webathon 2021 to promote their cause through stories and videos.  Viewers will be able to enter and exit the program at their leisure to view their favourite charity and learn about others supporting Halton North.

Participating charities include:

  • Halton Learning Foundation
  • Community Living North Halton
  • ROCK
  • Links2Care
  • Milton District Hospital Foundation
  • Townsend Smith Foundation
  • Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton
  • ArtSpark through the Town of Milton
  • Halton Hills Library
  • CFHN Unrestricted Fund

Webathon 2021 is an exciting opportunity as its goal is to bring together Halton Hills and Milton’s elected officials, representatives of CFHN, many local charities and residents.

CFHN’s mission is to educate the public on the importance of providing everlasting support to Halton Hills and Milton’s charities and ultimately gain additional support to continue growing the endowments that are granted back into the community.

G. Bradford (Brad) Clements, Chair of the CFHN board, is enthusiastic about the event, which marks CFHN’s 10 years.

“The Board of CFHN is pleased to lead this first ever Webathon to benefit the many charities serving Halton Hills and Milton.”

The virtual showcase will be three hours and 20 minutes long, presented three times. So, the online attendees can log in and out of the virtual platform to watch the presentation.
